With the establishments of one national center of technology research and development, 20 industrialized companies and 2 funds, Lengine has grown rapidly and the lines of business have expanded to five major divisions, namely “new materials, high-end manufacturing, counter-terrorism security, environmental engineering, civil-military integration services”.
Among them, the new materials division includes aramid, high temperature ultra-corrosion resistant material, Nano-sterilization material, smart energy absorption material and ecosystem restoration material. Possessing with all the independent intellectual property rights, the division creates competitive advantages in the development, production, design and civil military integration. Some technologies even fill in the gap between China and abroad, and raise the industrial standards. High-end manufacturing division includes the industrial CT, micro-Nano CT, subminiature airborne LIDAR, military shelter, ultra-sensitive detectors and special power supply which are used in equipment detection, smart safe city, safety of food and drugs and high specific capacity energy storage etc. Counter-terrorism division includes the explosives trace detector, drug detector, glass breakers and multi-functional barrier removers which have proven in the field testing and have been procured and used in the emergency department of military and police worldwide. Environmental engineering division includes the comprehensive underground defense engineering system solutions and supply of the whole industrial chain, seawater desalination equipment and aerospace ecological antibacterial textiles etc. to widely use in the public health and livelihood protection, while the civil military integration service division is committed to seamlessly connecting the cutting-edge technologies, military needs and the civil power of innovation through think tank and platform with services of think tank, platform and technologies. More innovation and technology entities will be hatched and the division will become a processing plant for innovative entities.
Lengine grew rapidly in 4 years since its foundation. It established the competence with an institution team managed by 2 academicians and hundreds of postdocs and doctors by integrating all the advantageous resources. With strategic alliance with state-level research institutes and scientific research institutes, over 20 kinds of products have been applied to national defense construction with 68 reserve projects, and we took part in formulating more than 20 national standards with over 1,000 patents possessed. Among them, one was granted the national 2nd prize of scientific and technological progress; one was granted the China Patent Excellence Award, and one technology is under evaluation for the first prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress;
